A weekend with family

We took a trip up to New Hampshire this weekend to see my cousins. I can't tell you how hard it was for Corey and I to leave. We would have LOVED to stay up there a lot longer but life goes on back here in Massachusetts and unfortunately there are somethings we wish we could forget about. But while being there...we had nothing but good times and it was very relaxing and we are counting the days until we go back already!! HA!! Does it sound like we needed a little vacation or what?

A day out with Josh

So we were able to take Josh out for a day and we decided to take him to Mystic Aquarium. We got a big group of our friends and his friends and got up early and vetured off together! (I would have better pictures but these are from my phone. LONG story and don't want to go there)
Anyway, he LOVED it and it seemed so much bigger when I was a kid and we went on field trips there. Oh well, that is not important. What IS important is that Josh got to call the shots pretty much. We let him point his way through and take it all in. His favorite seemed to be all the sharks. The reef sharks he went crazy for but he liked the Bamboo sharks because they were in tanks that he could put his hands into. (he mostly liked to just splash a little) I could write so much more I am sure but it is 10pm and I just wanted to get this up on a new post to share with everyone. I will do better next time... (HA!!)







It was a really fun day and we can't wait to take him out again. Who knows where he will want to go next ;0)

Hit a Mile stone....

As some of you know Amelia started with applesauce already. But she is now sitting up like a big girl in her high-chair =) AND ALSO had a whole container of carrots. YES the whole thing. (I think she will be like mommy and not have a problem liking food)


I think we started earlier with Amelia and not with Josh because with him, we didn't know exactly what he could handle and when he was ready to do certain things. It seems that we are starting things earlier with Amelia but in actuality, it is because we are "pro's" now at this baby raising thing. HA HA I am TOTALLY kidding there!!

Anyway, we I just wanted to share with you Amelia's mile stone.

Here is her experience: ENJOY!

"MMMMMM....What is this taste?"

"Oh my...that is really good"

"Is there more? I need more!!"

"Mommy, we definitely have to do this again"

And then there's Josh,

"Oh...yeah...eating. Been there, done that. Talk to me when you can eat a chicken nugget"

He is SUCH a big boy. I just love these kids!!!

Rain Rain, GO AWAY!!

It has been raining so much here in Mass. Getting a little boring and depressing sitting around the house all day. Just look at that pathetic face. He wants to get outside so bad and I wish I could take him to the park and for a nice long walk...but we have to wait. AND wait......AND WAIT!!
Oh well, we do have a few funs things we do inside as well. (I can tell you my kids have never been cleaner because it seems a bath is a good way to make time pass) HA HA!
I hope everyone else is having a little bit better weather than we have had.
